Code of Conduct
Last updated 20 October 2026
Touchline is about having fun playing football with people from everywhere. Banter about the game is fine. Making the game worse for others is not.
Don't
- Harass or bully anyone: no threats, stalking, targeting someone repeatedly, or encouraging others to.
- Hate speech: nothing attacking people for race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability or age.
- Sexual content, sexual comments or gestures, especially anything involving minors (reported to the authorities).
- Cheat, mod or exploit the game, its servers or bugs, or use tools that give an unfair advantage.
- Grief: deliberately ruining matches, own-goaling on purpose, blocking the game, or mic-spamming loud noise or music.
- Share private information about anyone, including yourself (addresses, phone numbers, socials of others).
- Impersonate staff, creators or other players, or use offensive usernames.
- Scam or advertise: no selling, trading or "free badge" scams.
Do
- Be a good teammate and opponent, and say GG.
- Mute or block anyone who bothers you (Menu → Social), and report rule breaks with the right category.
- Keep your play space safe for you and the people around you.
What happens if you break the rules
Depending on how serious it is: a warning, a voice mute, a temporary ban or a permanent ban. Reports are reviewed by the Touchline team. Abuse of the report button is itself a rule break. To appeal a sanction, send us a message through our contact form with your username.
