TOUCHLINE

Terms of Service

Last updated 20 October 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and Cookie Tag Studios ("we", "us") for playing Touchline. By playing you agree to them, to our Privacy Policy and to the Code of Conduct. If you don't agree, please don't play. Meta's own terms also apply to your Meta account and the Meta Horizon Store.

1. Who can play

You must meet Meta's minimum age for Quest accounts in your country. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian should read these terms with you.

2. Your licence

We give you a personal, non-transferable, revocable licence to play Touchline for non-commercial fun. You may stream and record your gameplay and post clips (we'd love to see them). You may not copy, resell, reverse-engineer, decompile, modify or redistribute the game or its files, or use cheats, mods, bots or tools that interfere with the game, its servers or other players.

3. Online play and behaviour

Online matches put you in voice and text contact with other players. You are responsible for what you say and do. Follow the Code of Conduct. We may mute, suspend or ban accounts that break it, with or without warning, and may remove content such as usernames. Other players' behaviour is their own; use the mute, block and report tools.

4. Your username and content

Your username must not impersonate others or be offensive. Anything you send in the game (chat, voice, usernames, reports) must be lawful. You give us the right to transmit it to other players and to review reports for moderation.

5. Items, badges and the Shop

Cosmetic items and badges (such as creator badges and boot styles) give no gameplay advantage, can't be sold or traded and can't be exchanged for money. Badges awarded for creator programmes can be revoked if the conditions stop being met.

The Shop. Some cosmetic items can be bought in the in-game Shop. Purchases are made through the Meta Horizon Store and handled by Meta under Meta's terms; we never see your payment details. The Shop has no loot boxes or random rewards: you always see exactly which item you're buying and its price before you pay. A purchased item is a licence to use that cosmetic in Touchline on your account; it unlocks on the Touchline account you're signed in to when you buy (or tap Restore purchases) and stays tied to that account. Refunds are handled by Meta under its refund policy. We won't remove an item you bought, except to stop cheating, fraud or a refund/chargeback, or if Touchline's online services close. Items may be visually updated over time.

Clubs. You can create or join a club. Club names and tags follow the same rules as usernames (section 4); we may rename or remove clubs that break them.

6. The game can change

Touchline is an evolving game: we may update, change or stop features, arenas, modes or online services at any time. Online play needs an internet connection and third-party services, which may sometimes be unavailable.

7. Safety

VR can cause discomfort, motion sickness or injury. Play in a clear, safe space, follow Meta's health and safety warnings, take breaks and stop if you feel unwell. Touchline is an active football game: keep your guardian boundary set and mind furniture, walls, pets and people when kicking.

8. Liability

The game is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for things outside our reasonable control. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your statutory consumer rights.

9. Ending and changes

You can stop playing at any time and ask us to delete your data (see the Privacy Policy). We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms. We may update these terms. If we do, we'll change the date above, and continuing to play means you accept the new version. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without affecting mandatory consumer protections where you live.
